These courses are primarily designed for the traditional classroom approach of
post-high school adults. The instructor devises student evaluation tests or
assigns projects -to assure comprehension. Each student will require a textbook
and a Bible.
Biblical
Beliefs: Presents foundational Bible
doctrines in a popular, easy-to-understand format. Covered in the course are
creation and fall of man, faith and regeneration, justification and
adoption, angels, Satan, resurrection and judgment, and the church.
The Triune God: This course provides grounding in basic Christian beliefs. The
individuality of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is studied and the biblical
teaching of the oneness of the Godhead is clearly presented. Session
topics include the characteristics and works of God; the preexistence,
incarnation, and deity of Christ; and the personality and power of the Holy
Spirit.
Joy At Work - based upon the book by Dennis Bakke which
focuses on the fact that God created us with a purpose and design that enables
us to be good stewards of our gifts and employing them toward meaningful work
brings joy and peace. As redeemed people of God through the Lord Jesus we
are to demonstrate the glory of the Lord in the earth and find out where
our gifts fit in the workplace.
Spiritual Formation 1: Topics include foundations for spiritual growth, communication
with God, establishing a godly life-style, developing interpersonal skills,
worship and devotional life, identifying ministry capabilities and areas for
service, and lifelong learning.
New Testament Survey: Brings unity and chronological sequence to New Testament study by
weaving the contents of the books around a central theme the pers6n of Christ.
Divisions are the synoptic gospels, the Gospel of John, the Book of Acts, the
Pauline Epistles in chronological order, the General Epistles and the Book of
Revelation.
Spiritual Formation 2: The moment you invite Christ into your life and experience
conversion, a monumental change takes place. In part 1, we explore the
necessary ingredients needed to cultivate and stir a desire for spiritual
growth, namely the virtues of Jesus. While Jesus virtues are the goal, in
Part 2, we will look closely at the disciplines or spiritual exercises to access
the virtues. We will focus on learning how to practice Spiritual
exercises that open us up to God’s presence. Ultimately our desire is to
submit to the Lord Jesus, and be an imitator of Christ in this world.
The Church at Study - This course clarifies the Sunday school's purposes, functions,
and organization for ministry in the 21st century. Covers all
aspects of the ministry of bringing people of all ages (children, youth, and
adults) to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, enriching their Christian lives,
and preparing them to serve Christ.
Church Educational Ministries: More Than Sunday School. It provides a
panaroma of educational ministries in the local church Sunday school, home
Bible studies, summer ministries retreats and camps, adult education, youth and
club programs, children s church, and missions. It presents each program's
uniqueness, strength, and structure.
EffectivelyLeading: A Guide for
Foundations of the Faith: Part One and Two examines how to be assured of
forgiveness, salvation, victory, and God’s love from a scriptural standpoint.
Personal Leadership Development: Presents the three critical dimensions of effective
leadership. You learn from scripture the essential qualities of an
effective leader and how to develop those qualities in your own life. The
specific changes needed to maximize your potential as a leader will be
determined.
Understanding
Teaching: Designed
to provide Bible teaching preparation for those desiring to serve in the church
educational program. Presenting the “why” as well as the “how” of
teaching, this course is designed to challenge teachers with the newest
principles and methods of communicating God’s Word.
God’s
Financial Plan: This
course is designed to present a biblical perspective of how to put God first in
our lives and allow God to show us His plan for our financial success. Personal

Prayer: This course is
designed to present the importance of prayer as a lifestyle rather than a time
of calling upon the Lord for emergencies. Prayer is the supply-line connecting
human need to God’s resources and a channel of fellowship and communion with

addition to prayer, this coursewill present the most powerful weapon
against the devil who tries to prevent you from receiving healing and
deliverance for your life. Understanding music and worship in the church is an

Ministry of Evangelism: Evangelism
is the mandate for church growth today. This course covers the
foundations for evangelism, conversion and regeneration, leading to a
decision. Also discussed will be age specific techniques, team efforts,
visitation, discipling new believers, and the importance of prayer to the
evangelistic effort.
World
Missions Today: A
survey of missions with emphasis on the present worldwide scene, the biblical
basis of missions and how all believers can get involved. Every believer's life
will be enriched with the knowledge of God's work through His people.

Your Bible (Bible
Introduction): Believers, especially those involved in church ministry, should
be well informed about the Word of God. This course presents the inspiration
and authorship of the Bible, how it was preserved, why we believe it, how we
deal with its problems and critics, the role of archeology, and ways to study
it.
Understanding
People: Gives insight
into people's personalities, experiences, interests, and needs. Examined in
this course are the basic elements of personality development (physical,
intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual) for each major age division in
an individual's development.
